Question

I’m interested in purchasing Janeva’s Phase 1 cookbook and wonder if the recipes use Walden Farms products? When I first started IP I bought My Ideal Recipes by Chef Verati, but was disappointed that many of the recipes called for WF products.

Janevas in my opinion is a joke. Yes its almost all ip packrts and walden farm crap. Go online write something like spaghetti sauce ideal protein and you will get a ton.

@tautog98 I agree with you. I love her book for phase 1 and already bought her next book for maintenance. I couldn't get through my weekly food prep without it!

@hatch9711 You’re the first I’ve heard say this. normally people love it, as do I. I don’t do too many that includes Waldon Farms or the IP products, but there are a fair amount of recipes in it that don’t include them.

@superscription im angry i was talked into buying it. I threw mine out as i didnt want to subject anyone else to it. You can find everything for free online.

Everything I made fro m janevas cookbook hardly required walden farms product. I made a dessert that did and it was super good. At first I didn't know what to think about the cookbook but I cook from it at least 4 times a week now. It's handy to have everything in front. And for someone like me who is not a cooker it has really been awesome. I just made roasted Brussels sprouts last night. Super easy and super good. I would have never thought about that if it wasn't for the cookbook. Maybe u can borrow someone's before you buy?

There is a janeva's cookbook Facebook group - she posts lots of ideas on it and has tons of recipes in the page's files! It's a great way to see if you like her recipes.
