Is air frying ok for IP phase one? If so does anyone have any good recipes?

Yes. I usually bread my chicken with the Southwest cheese curls and cook it in the air fryer for my IP version of fried chicken. You can also bread it with the cheese curls for a Parmesan chicken. It’s crispier than in the oven

Yes. I love salmon in the air fryer. All I do is add the IP salt to it and put it in the air fryer at 400 for 17 minutes. I buy the thicker pieces of salmon so you may have to adjust your time and temperature based on thickness

Oh I also air fry my vegetables. I have done eggplant, jicama, celery root, zucchini or yellow squash for “chips” - seasoned 1/4 tsp of olive oil salt and pepper.

@gabrielgabriela temp and length of time

@weaponless24 it all depends on what I’m making and how crispy I want it. For veggies I use the French fries setting checking them and flip them as they cook.

I air fry everything, that's almost the only way I cook. I make bread using recipes out of the cook book, slice it and make toast in the air fryer. I don't follow any directions as far as heat or length of time, I have a see through air fryer and I just watch it cook and keep checking it until it's how I want it done.

Janeva's turnip fries are great in the air fryer. Shrimp and steak also come out great!

It better be because I just ordered the air fryer lid.

@clos988 for your instapot?! Please update us on whether this is a good investment. Thinking about getting it because if there's one down side to the air fryer it's the size of the basket. I would love to get the lid to be able to cook more and use the instapot and the air fryer at the same time for family dinners instead of just one person's meal at a time.

I ordered the mealthy top. I watched some videos/ reviews and it seems like the best deal. From the look of the basket it comes with I don't think it would do more than maybe 3 servings. We shall see.

@clos988 the sizes of the baskets are the only down side. Wish they made bigger ones

I agree. The top I ordered has a larger basket than it use to and it can dehydrate also.
