Has anyone here had success with the alternative phase 1. the one that is IP but you are allowed one item from 3 food groups a day also? I think it’s primarily for diabetics

I have a strange reaction to ketosis- heart palpatations when I did atkins years ago. (Seems to be from ketosis) so when I started IP, they put me on alternative. I lost my 15 lbs I needed to lose in two months. And no palpatations.

Slower, but it works. I’m diabetic so I started there, but tried full program and lost a lot faster. I ‘reverted’ to it for a week here and there when I really wanted to cheat. It was ‘enough’ to get a little cheese and stay on track.
