Can you do sit ups, weights , squats ect while doing this diet? I know cardio is a no-no, is that correct?

I exercise 3 days a week. I need to as it really helps with my mental health, endorphins and all that. But I try and be careful to not go too hard, stick to weights and not much cardio. I know that it might slow me down, but I’m still losing an average of 2lbs per week. So I’m happy with that, as long as it doesn’t stall me completely. (Keep in mind that everyone is different, just because it works for me, I don’t know how it could effect other people. So just be prepared that it might have a negative effect on your progress). Or I might have to look at doing something else.

I do weight lifting but no cardio and I have to be careful when doing large muscle groups like legs. Really I just make sure my heart rate doesn't go up too high. The side effect is that my appetite increases if my heartrate goes up for a sustainedlength of time. So I just make sure my heart rate doesn't go up. I do lift very heavy and I workout five or six days a week. Personally I've not had any problems with light headedness or shortness of breath. Make sure you talk to your coach too.

I worked out - both cardio and weights - from Phase 1 all the way through 4. I did NOT consume an extra packet. I kept my workouts to 200 calorie burns - about thirty minutes. I worked out 4-5 times a week. I did do squats, bench press, push up, dead lifts, curls, etc. as well as jog, walk and elliptical. No issues and was coach approved. I lost about 2 pounds a week. My mental health via working out was more important that losing the weight FAST!

My coach recommended against esp if its not what I was doing regularly prior to starting program. Check with your coach to determine nutritional needs
