I am no coach. However. I would just do the shakes. I agree with @bing759 drink lots of water. Use the shakes/ drinks. I wouldn't worry too much about sticking to the exact program. At least I haven't these past few days. I've not had all my veggies in. I just found out I have strep. So I'm just going to get better and then focus again in a day when hopefully I'm feeling better. I hope you feel better soon.

I am no coach, but even if not on a diet and sick, just liquids to let the body heal is good. I don't think this is different. Lots of water, warm lemon water, ginger tea, (use only appropriate sweeteners) AND HOMEMADE CHICKEN STOCK, best cure all! You can puree steamed veggies into it. Vanilla chai pack hot, chocolate shake, for protein. I also like the yogurt berry drink pack. But seriously, real chicken stock.

Just do the drinks hot & cold. Jello. Don't worry too much about the sheet per se. You'll probably not be able to eat it all.

If you can tolerate liquids, then stick to those. After I vomited 2 of my ready to serve drinks, I stopped having the packets ( too expensive to "throw away') I tried jello made with the branch aminos

Roasted cauliflower soup is a current favourite for us. I did not add the butter to keep it to protocol. I just made a large batch for tomorrow's lunch.

As a coach I had a client determined she survived off the chocolate drink mix for over a week. It ended up being the only thing she could keep down.
