Do some of you do IP for a couple days or weeks just to get back on track ?

@kippy I started phase one recently to loose 5-10 pounds. But I was on maintenance for 10 months before.

I have tried doing it for two weeks here and there. It works to lose a few pounds

I’ve been maintenance for almost two years. About twice a year I will do 2-3 weeks of phase 1. (After vacations, or this time after the holidays. ) It gets off a few pounds before they become 20-30 lbs. I think it also helps mentally - to get recentered on clean eating.

I lost 65 pounds 4 years ago, and for the last 2 years I've gone back to phase 1 in January to get the weight off from the holidays and the year. I make sure to go below my original goal weight to give myself some wiggle room. Last year I had a lot of vacations and events and ended up with 20 pounds to lose come January. I've been back on phase 1 since Jan. 6 and have lost 10 pounds. I know the last 10 will be slower, but I'll stick with it before it gets ahead of me.
