Ice drinks to sip on. extra veggies or extra packet . just get through the 3 days. you can do it. Get all of the junk food out of your house . My motivation is NOT wanting to go through those 3 days again. The hunger absolutely goes away.

Prep, prep, prep! That’s what I’m doing now. The first few weeks of being stuck home, I did great - but the last three have been ROUGH. I just feel icky, so it’s time to reboot before I do further damage!

Don’t start on a Monday!
by (380 points)
@sink I'm curious? How come?
by (2.4k points)
@vas94 my experience is that if people fail on Monday that wait for the next Monday to restart. Fail on a Tuesday, start again the next day. Fail on a Thursday? Start again on the next day. Fail Monday? Start the next week. Most people’s thoughts.

Another reason is that if you work Mon-Fri, its better (for me anyway) to have my "crappy " 3 days at home so if you start Tues or Wed your worst days should end up being Sat and Sun

Pickle juice for headaches and dizzy spells. Lots of water to help curve appetite. Also designate yourself one cupboard and prep all your veggies by cutting them up and I suggest getting a good rubber made fridge saver for them as well. Makes it so much easier to stay on track when you don’t have to continuously prep. I felt like I was going through the detox for 2 months. Sick every single day. You have to want this. You got this girl

I was craving Ice Cream so instead I blended the IP Dark Chocolate Pudding mix with water and ice in my Ninja. It was so good and much better for me.

@tithable I cup water and then I fill the cup half way with ice. Blend for 30 seconds. Add more ice and then blend for another 30 - 60 seconds

Make a list of projects. Keep busy to keep your mind off food. and stay away from activities and areas that might make you crave/cheat. I avoid watching TV on the couch after everyone goes to bed. there are no witnesses to my cheating and I always can provide myself an excuse and tell myself I’ll do better tomorrow which I won’t I’ll just go down the rabbit hole.

Keep busy! Prep, have extra low carb packet if you need it. Drink lots of water so you feel that yucky full feeling and keep trying your jeans on. Do not let yourself wear leggings or sweat pants all the time.

When I stay 100% on plan, I don’t get headaches. But this is my 3rd try and it took a week to get over the sugar/carb cravings.

I had a headache on and off for the first week. After that, no more problems. Make sure you're drinking water, having the salt and taking the vitamins to support your overall nutrition. As far as getting through the sugar detox itself (anxiety, desire to eat foods off plan, etc. ), remember why you're making this lifestyle change. Write it down. At least, those are things that helped me.

Honestly, knowing it's going to suck and getting thru it with the knowledge that once you're off sugar, the cravings really go away! Good luck! Also Orbitz gum every night
