My coach recommended a free meal the last week, I did it on Monday, I weighed myself at 209, had my meal, weighed myself Tuesday was at 214, weighed myself today 206. so it worked!

@fredette What is a ‘free meal’?
by (480 points)
@scrumptious8434 it’s one meal non protocol, aka a cheat meal. Sometimes when you are stalled it helps. My coach had recommended it also to get the scale moving and it worked. Don’t go too overboard tho! No heavy fried stuff or high sugars because it might make you incredibly sick. My first cheat meal took me two and a half days to feel better from just because my body reacted poorly to what I ate. So be careful. Talk with your coach about what might be a good meal for that, only if your coach recommends it.

@bursa I am a past coach and had never heard of this ‘boost’. Glad it worked for you.

@scrumptious8434 my coach says its helped tons of her clients. I asked about the reboot i keep reading about. She recommended this first. I didn't even eat half of what I ordered. which in the past would have been gone instantly! I was a little lethargic yesterday BUT my sleep has been WAAAAAY off since Sunday. With my son and his girlfriend going through emotional things and her getting into a car accident plus the full moon my body doesn't remember how to sleep this week!

@fredette you lost 8 pounds in 24 hours?
by (4.1k points)
@intravenous it was most likely water retention. my first week i shed 19# almost. most, if not all of that was water weight.

Note. i needed proof that it would work in my head, thats why I weighed myself 3 days in a row. normally only once a week weigh in's!

You say slow. But are you still losing lbs and inches?
by (3.8k points)

Define "has been slow" -- how much? how much time? how long have you been on IP? total loss to date?

Evaluate carefully which IP products you are choosing. Change to the lower calories, lower net carbs for a week. Or do the "opposite" if you have been doing lower calories choices. Same thing for veggies & meats.

OK I'll check my journal, I also do muffins or loaf of bread with packets for evening snack, maybe I should cut out the extra egg whites etc in the baking

@pincenez you don’t have to cut them out - you just have to count them in your daily allowance totals

Water - I know it’s annoying and everyone says to drink it. But I was stuck at 249. 8 up until yesterday. I drank 3L and took Floralax and some digestive enzymes and as of this morning I’m 246. 4

I try to get in 100 oz but not getting there everyday, if I drink decaf coffee do I need to drink extra water of same amount. like you do for caffeine
by (1.2k points)
@pincenez you need to drink extra I’m assuming but I don’t consume caffeine so I’m not 100% sure
by (2.4k points)
@pincenez You only need the extra water if you drink caffeine.

I always see a boost when I do 3 shakes as my packets for the day! Idk what it is but it works like a charm for me, still have all my water, protein, veggies and supplements ! Good luck ☺️

How much do you have to lose?
by (3.8k points)
I still have about 10 to go
by (6.3k points)
@pincenez Ok, well you know that’s why it is slow as the last 10-15 lbs usually are. If you have been into a routine for a while (times you eat, same vegeatables, same protein choices) then switch that up.
