So I know pickles are part of the select veggies and all but curious/confused how that doesn’t effect our sodium consumption? I’m all for pickles! Love them just want to makes sure there wasn’t an fine print kinda thing lol

Your salt intake is generally much less on IP than the standard western diet, plus while in a ketogenic metabolic state you expel the salts that you do intake faster, thus, you need to intentionally eat/add salt to your foods. Pickles are fine.

@beesley7703 I usually retain approximately 2lbs of water weight if I eat a cup of pickles. It comes off quickly in a day or two.

I buy the pickles with sea salt. I just think they’re healthier!
