TMI but.  this week I've had the longest/heaviest period ever.TMI but. this week I've had the longest/heaviest period ever. I started the diet on November 12th, so shouldn't my body be used to this by now? I already suffer from anemia, so I've been doubling my iron pills and eating lots of spinach. Any advice?

Extra vitamin C when you take your iron for better absorption. If the bleeding doesn’t improve, call your doctor’s office. Lots of options for heavy periods.

The lower your HCT goes the more likely you are to bleed. If you haven't had it checked lately you might want to see a Dr and get advise.

I started in September and was getting mine every 20 days, not bad but still a pain. Did you talk to your coach/or Dr?

I had the same problem. Mine wasn’t a regular flow. I just had a lot of spotting. I talked to my Obgyn and she said to take ibuprofen so it would slow down the bleeding. My coach wasn’t too happy with that because she said ibuprofen contained a lot of sodium. I followed my doctor’s orders.
