Delete if not allowed.  but just curious if anyone here has psoriasis ?Delete if not allowed. but just curious if anyone here has psoriasis ? And did you notice your skin get better/worse on IP? I can’t decide if it’s just because it’s winter (ugh) or if it’s maybe reacting to the soy? Mine has gotten worse in the last month that I started and just wanted to see about others. thanks in advance

If your gut can’t tolerate a food like soy, dairy, wheat or corn then yes your psoriasis is definitely going to get worse.

@tomlin I’m definitely eating more foods with soy now than I used to so I don’t know it’s it’s a problem or not. I’m eating less dairy and wheat.

@operose I’m going to hope mine will get there! This is my second time on IP and I don’t remember mine getting worse the first time around.

@lichen5502 id it’s your second time and you didn’t have a reaction the first time it may not be the soy but anything is possible people can definitely react to foods later in life.

My daughters psoriasis is tied to gluten. Same with a few other family members. I don’t think it’s soy. Not too many IP options but you will know in a few days. her plaques literally melted away in days when she went gluten free. It was so dramatic that I recommend trying it.

@kampmeier I have heard that quite a bit. I saw the list of GF options. I think I will try that! Thank you!

Mine got worse first and now it’s getting better. I thought I was going to be miserable the whole time but in the last week I’ve had significant improvement.

@paterson I’m hopeful for that!

I have it on areas on my scalp. It gets better and worse all the time regardless of being on IP.

Thanks for the input everyone! I’ve had psoriasis for half my life, but in the last few years it had been very little, not inflamed and not itchy. So I just didn’t know if there was a connection with all my new spots. Willing to give it more time and try GF and see what happens.

Mine fluctuates, but in general, it’s better.

Mine gets worse if I eat a lot if the soy puff so I tend to stay away from them. Mine got better in the summer as I got further asking in the protocol. Trial and error with soy products.

Mine got worse and I didn't think it could be connected until you said something. I have it on my scalp all the time. Haven't had a patch in like 15 years. I've had two patches in the past 3 months.
