Hi everyone!  I am wondering who has had success splitting their proteins more evenly throughout the day… If I follow the sheet I end up with several hours between meals (and therefore my protein).Hi everyone! I am wondering who has had success splitting their proteins more evenly throughout the day… If I follow the sheet I end up with several hours between meals (and therefore my protein). But all the ideal protein informational videos suggest having your protein every three hours… How do you reconcile the difference between what the sheet has you doing and what the ideal protein informational videos tell you to do…? Right now I am having in addition to my salads and veggie): IP shake @ 8:00 am IP shake @ 12 pm Food protein @ 6:00 pm IP pudding @ 9:00 pm See my gap⬆️⬆️ should I split my evening protein into two to split the gap? Thanks for any info! Ps I am gluten free and am limited by my preferences and what’s gluten free, if you were wondering why I only do shakes and puddings;)

The IP food is FULL of protein, the reason they want you to have your “WHOLE” protein at dinner is to get your body through the night easier is what my coach told me

@fivefold70 maybe split your lunch shake in 2? Mix it with some spinach and ice, make it bulkier and then drink 1/2 at lunch and then drink 1/2 at 3 for an afternoon snack? I use the capachino pre made in the am as my coffee creamer so i am consuming it over the course of 2 hours

@fivefold70 NP gotta find what works for YOU! Not one of us is the same! I have been on pintrest looking up meal ideas and how to use different products differently. I would assume this is GF

This would be adding a SLIGHT bit more protein and can easily be made in to “waffle cookies” and be eaten through the day to add more substance to your afternoon

Are you eating a salad and 2 cups veggies with your other meals?

My coach also said you could have an extra packet of needed. Maybe try that. I switch my protein meal from the evening to lunch on weeks i have to carpool Out of town. I bought a portable blender to do my shake on the road.

Yup I have! I have protein for breakfast(eggs) then usually the second half at lunch or at dinner. Over 50lbs down in just under 4 months! So it worked ok for me!

I find that I need to eat something with protein every 3-4 hours- that usually means lots of salads and shakes. Blend up spinach into your morning shake to feel better a little longer (spinach is unlimited) I also keep the caps/leftovers off all select and unlimited veggies I use. For instance- kale stems, lime peels, mushroom stems, lettuce hearts ect and boil it all with a little IP salt and drink it hot between meals. I find I last longer if I have the bulk of my protein for lunch as well.

I eat based on hunger and circumstances. During the work week I eat a little more scheduled, between the hours of 9-5. On the weekend it’s more open as I’m usually awake later and involved with more activities. As long as you get all that is required in during your waking hours you are fine. I rarely eat my animal protein all at once. You should do what works for you.

4-5 hours is absolutely acceptable. IP is full of contradictions among the sheet, videos, IP corporate responses to direct questions, and what coaches say!

I've been feeling hungry lately and my coach suggested to split my protein which is what I'm doing , see how that works out.

Always split it or won’t be able to eat it all. Also has allowed me to feel full on smaller portions! I have been very successful and consistently losing since I started

When I asked my coach and IP I was told that everyone is different with their daily schedule and life demands. Some work shifts, odd hours and it's just not practical to follow the same time schedule. Basically if you are getting in all of your daily requirements in for the day then you'll be fine. Tweak as required. On my long shifts I have hard boiled eggs with lunch or for snack and deduct from dinner as I'm home late and don't feel I'm up to the bigger meal.

I would definitely have something in the middle of the afternoon! My coach says it is fine to split the protein throughout the day.
