Big fear time- how many here have A. lost the weight, but B managed to keep it off as well? Now that i am in the swing of this program, and moving along, I am so afraid of what happens once I stop? I don't want to be back this way ever again!

As I’m going through the program my relationship with food has changed. I’ve been on since late Aug and to date have lost 93lbs. I get scared but then remember how strong I am to have gotten this far. Not only that but the knowledge of food and it’s contents, how to make better choices, and food doesn’t fix a damn thing! Instead of being scared of the future I now have a excitement to see what is next.

That is the best attitude! I feel that way also, but don't want to fall into a false sense of security!

Same! I don’t want to go into this “new life” being scared but prepared. I figured we are human, but I want to go forward being as positive as I can. Keep on a chuggin!

I lost 80 lbs in 7 months and I’ve kept it off now for almost 7 months. You can do it, but you need to stay consciously aware of your relationship with food and remember the things you’ve learned along this journey. Remember it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change!

I worry about that too but I am determined not to gain it back! Too much work and money involved. Yes I have gained it back in the past after diet programs but I’ve learned so much more this time

I took off 60 lbs, 2 1/2 years ago and have maintained. I do a refresh of phase one maybe 1-2 times a year for a few weeks but have never been more than 7 lbs over my goal weight. If you stick to it and be consistent you’ll be fine!

You have to stabilize your new weight by staying at that weight for 6 months to a year. Pretty much keep eating like your eating now. : protein and veggies. Very little carbs, sugar and dairy. forever.
