Do you guys measure your vegetables in an actual measuring cup? Or do you use measurement conversions from cups to oz? I’ve been doing a lot of googling and can’t even find consistent conversions from cups to oz, every site I find says something different!

By weight using a food scale. Look in the files for the chart that lists measurements.

@contractile I’m a coach and I had them in my file cabinet

I don’t know if this helps or will add more confusion but my coach said to use a scale because using a cup doesn’t measure the veggies accurately according to the conversion sheet ‍♀️

I weigh my vegetables. There is a chart in the cookbook I use that measures them in oz

I cannot believe that I am saying this. but I have been weighing my vegetables on a scale using the IP Vegetable Weight Chart. (Chart posted above by @bethanie. )

I lost 120lb on IP and never once weighed or measured my vegies. Just a handful for a cup. give or take a few. It is not going to hurt or stop you from losing. I would be more concerned about oil when cooking or dressing a salad.

Weighing in grams is the gold standard. Find a scale, it is worth it!

I like to prep my vegetables ahead of time. I cut or chop my turnips up and put it all in a container. Then I can just measure out 2 cups on my food scale using the weight chart. I like to use grams since it is easier to divide if I want a partial cup to use with another vegetable. Gosh, did that make sense.

Your coach should be able to give you a sheet with correct weight fir each veggie. Mine gave me one.
