Im a month in and have followed protocol to a T. for some reason the last few days I feel SO hungry. Any ideas why? It's really testing my will power!

@collectivity I have days on and off that I feel hungry. I always try to think if I am more stressed or what my emotions have been. That can throw us off and we don’t realize it. Or we’ve done more activities on those days? Part of my journey has been to try to think beyond the food when I’m hungry. May or may not be the case for you. But try to use tea, a pickle, water, etc. to get through it. If it keeps happening talk to your coach and go through your food journal. Stay strong and know it’s so worth it!

Hot liquids can make you feel fuller. Try drinking herbal tea when you are hungry. You can count it toward your water. Make sure it is herbal, not caffeinated or decaffeinated tea.

Check for 'sneak carbs. " Veggies that you may think are unlimited raw or select but which are really select or occasional? Kale gets mistaken as unlimited raw sometimes, for example. MEASURE the select veggies. Do not 'eyeball' them. Keep using the conversion chart. Too much of the condiments? remember 4-servings per day, and IP or Walden Farms syrups/dressings sparingly, and never more than their serving sizes on the labels. Even if a label says 0% carbs, it can still say that with as much as . 5 grams. This caught me-- don't overdue the Restricted items. I didn't realize that Dill Zippers were restricted. I had unboxed them to save space in my pantry and missed the R symbol. With the revisions to IP this year, Restricted items are optional. If you are having one per day, try one every other day or just go with all non-restricted items. Reducing those carbs might reduce your cravings.

@nonconformity37567 It's great that you are following the plan as closely as possible. Remember though, nobody is perfect and no two bodies are identical. I made mistakes well into my own Phase 1 weight loss (151 pounds). But that's okay. We don't expect perfection. If people were perfect at it, we would not need health coaches and weekly visits. One more tip-- explore the VARIETY of products. Don't settle on the same three items every day, week after week. Changing up your items will 'keep your body guessing. " It's kind of like the theory of muscle confusion when weight lifting-- only it's your metabolism that had to adapt.

Did anyone else prepare your food for you in the last few days? Sometimes when I eat out or eat at a friends house and even if it looks and sounds protocol I realize something was probably cooked with sugar because I get kicked out of ketosis and become hungry. Hang in there, doesn't take to long to get back in =)

@nonconformity37567 Well hang in there, we all have days like that sometimes, follow the tips up there and youll be good and get back to forcing yourself to eat again. Unlimited and hot drinks really help me

I am in my 3rd week & have been so hungry?!? Wasn’t a problem week 1 or 2. But now a shake in the morning & I’m still not satisfied? So, I’m right there with you! It’s frustrating & a little worrisome.

My coach told me that is my body burning more fat. Hang in there and try to drink hot tea. at least that helped me.

End of 8th week and just over it all. My last weigh-in my coach cancelled an hour before because of sickness, so that has had an effect. Very defeated.

It really frustrates me to see this. because if I have to cancel for work or weather I was told by my coach I would pay a penalty fee.

I am 6 weeks in and this has been me ALL WEEK! I am mind boggled as well. I drink at least 100 ounces of water and started drinking tea to try to help. I don’t know what’s going on! And a week after my period so it’s not hormones! ‍♀️

Have been sooo hungry over the past week or so. I can usually override it but its super hard recently.
