Some people may not lose as quickly if you eat all 4 cups at once. If you can spread it out, it reduces the overall carb intake at one time :)

I use to put cups of spinach in my shake. I can not eat all that everyday. It’s like thanksgiving dinner every. single. day.

Isn't it two cups at lunch and two cups at dinner

@sipe6 you can also blend some spinach in a chocolate drink. Can’t taste it

I have struggled with veggies sometimes. I am not a fan of spinach in my shakes however putting frozen cauliflower in mine and then in the blender has been a game changer. I sometimes add a few pieces of ice as well.

@pycno71 is it raw cauliflower?
by (1.4k points)
@fulgurite I actually cook it, weigh it and then freeze to use. Not sure this is the best way but it’s how I’ve done it.

@pycno71 ok, good to know as I can't eat it raw due to hashimoto's ammune disease so I'm definately trying that

@pycno71 this is great but weigh it. then cook it. You always want to weigh them raw because they will cook down and you might get too much if you weigh after you cook it. Sorry to have jumped in on your post.

@damselfish thanks so much for jumping in. Weigh it frozen?

@pycno71 yes or you can buy the ounces on the package.

It depends on the person That’s why i feel people should follow the sheet 100% for several weeks to establish loss history. if you start eating al veggies at night and your losses are smaller than stop ‍♀️

The splitting of the vegetables is a new thing. It wasn’t required when I started IP and I lost 65#in 4. 5 months. I don’t eat carb heavy vegetables though- spinach, cauliflower rice, broccoli, lettuce, cucumbers are my go to.

Most days I have 3-4 cups for dinner, does not slow mine down. But everyone is different
