I’ve been staying on plan throughout the quarantine and was doing ok, losing 2-3 lbs/ week. The last 1-1/2 weeks I am stalled, maintaining but not losing. Any suggestions on how to kick start a loss again?

Try mixing things up. if your are having a restricted, take it out. If you are not having a restricted add one in for a couple of days. Change up the packets you are using (type and what time of day you are having them). Also, switch around your protein choices - add in some other types.

I have had two weeks (not in a row) of losing only . 5. I just kept with it and it moved again.

For some reason if I only have a protein drink for breakfast & Lunch, then meat, veggies and Dorados for supper and pudding for snack. then that moves my scale better.

Make sure you’re drinking your water. Try to walk a little more.

Also remember you can loose inches without losing pounds. I know it is hard to get a measurement during quarantine. but don’t lose hope. when we have patients that stall we have them do this for two or three days. and it is pretty successful at getting you through a stall.

Have you checked your measurements. You are not hoping to lose every week, weight on the scale, especially around tom and especially during the current stress of the virus thing. That’s why we don’t look at individual week weight, but average them to say “ x amt per wk”. A true stall is no wt loss or inch loss in 30 days.

Are you as active as you were before? Even getting up and going to work was something for me and now I get up and stay home. So I try to get more movement going on at home.

@belamy Cochran I just realized that may be part of it. Walking to and from the parking lot to my office, going out for normal errands, definitely more sedentary

I have found that the weeks I don’t lose much weight I lose inches.
