It should taper off. Many mental health concerns are caused by inflammation in the brain (caused often by insulin resistance and sugar! ) As you go, you may notice some hormone fluctuations, but overall you’re doing a great thing by resetting insulin resistance. I stay low carb ongoing to continue the decreases inflammation (which in me, shows up in arthritis, asthma m, eczema, and acne. all of which also disappear with low carb and/or P1! ) Keep it up!
