One of my favorites is mixing the maple oatmeal with choc chip pancake and making mini muffins out of it. so good!

Both flavors of oatmeal are amazing! On the Apple cinnamon oatmeal I like to add a little bit of extra apple spice and a little extra cinnamon for more flavor and then on the maple I like to add a little bit of Walden Farms maple syrup

I prepare the oatmeal differently than on the directions because I like a smoother consistency. I also find just adding hot water does not soften all the oats to my liking. Put in a larger than cereal bowl dish. Add water. I also like to add cinnamon and nutmeg. Let sit for a few minutes to soften oats. Microwave 1 minute, stir and add a couple tbsp more water (after a few tries you will figure out how much water you like to get the final consistency you want! ) Microwave 30 seconds. (Watch it ALL THE TIME to be sure it doesn't swell over the top - hence the use of a larger bowl. If it gets near the rim, stop the micro for a couple seconds to let it deflate! ) stir. Microwave 30 more seconds. Stir. I also often first cook 1/4 - 1/3 cup riced cauliflower measure or weigh using veggie weight chart raw first) then add the oatmeal and water into that (a little extra water is often needed). Makes it an even heartier meal.

Love both of them and I add cinnamon to both of them also. Sometimes I make muffins and add chayote squash. So good.  oh I also dont microwave mine at all. I boil water in my tea kettle and pour it over the "oats" and stir. The same way I always made my Quaker instant oats

@gap2 hmm i throw it together. But its 1/2 c shredded zucchini, 1/3 c egg whites, either wf syrup or sugarfree coffee syrup 1 T, 1 t cinnamon, 1 t baking powder, 2 pkgs oatmeal or 1 oatmeal 1 vanilla pudding, or 1 pancake mix. Mix all together i put parchment paper in a glass pan and bake 350 for about 30 min or put in greased muffin tins 2 servings or just eat 1/2

I slow cook chayote squash with Walden Farms syrup (any kind you like) for a few hours. I then put into sandwich baggies (1 cup) and freeze. I take whatever oatmeal you want (they are all good) and add the one cup of defrosted squash to it. It mimics apples. Oh I also add cinnamon to the slow cooker. You can also add sweetener to it if you don’t want to add the syrup. You get one cup of veggies this way and it’s good.
