I have a question; I had to start a new medication. I have to take it with food, I had my IP chocolate drink with coffee as usual. It's not enough food, i had severe stomach pains all day. What can I do? Am I allowed eggs for breakfast? Any suggestions? Please help  Also may cause dizziness and possibly insomnia thats why you take it in the morning

I would eat one or two eggs and subtract from your meat protein.

You could try eating one of the pancakes. It would give more bulk in your stomach to help with your medication.

@pretty78226 I was going to try that tomorrow. Thanks

The chocolate chip pancakes are my favorite and I get the most "mileage" from eating them. I'm hungry in an hour if I have a drink for breakfast.

You can split your proteins

You could try the fine herb and cheese omelette from IP. If it's still not quite enough, add some red bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach and/or broccoli.

You could have some celery or cucumbers with breakfast. That's what I do to cushion the pills

Perhaps cut out the coffee. For me, caffeine always causes problems when I’m consuming less food.

One of the ideal protein oatmeal’s (maple or apple) could be a good choice as a stomach filler and good choice for breakfast.

Switch out your meals, perhaps. Have the chocolate drink for lunch and have an IP omelette or other IP meal in the morning with your medication or take the medication at lunch or dinner with a meal.

Carefully read the contraindications associated with medicine and cross check those warnings re foods vitamins stc against the products ingredient and supplement list. Also look at when you take your first IP PILLS what they are and the time spacing from the morning shake. See if you have something in that that goes against the ned warning. For instance I can’t take my thyroid meds too near my soy based products.

There is an egg meal that equals 1 packet though you can only do it 1x a day without affecting your lean meat. 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites equal a packet and sometimes i do that because it keeps me full for while (i did it yesterday with jalapenos and Pico). One great tip is you can take this sub and double it and make 2 days worth of muffins. So it's easy to grab

When I have to eat with food, I split up my animal protein and eat some each time I take medicine. My coach said that was ok and I actually dropped weight a little faster that way.
