Is anyone else noticing a slower weightloss the second time around? I lost 73 lbs in 2019 and now I am trying to lose 20 lbs that I gained back and it is coming off very slow (2 lbs in a month). is it the ‘diet memory’? Has anyone experienced this and when does it start to speed up?

It is common all i can say is make sure you are following protocol 100% and drinking lots of water. (I don't know your situation) but some people remember little cheats they did the first time around and for some reason they do not work the second time. Not saying you ever cheated on the diet just what I have experienced.

I’m experiencing it. The first 2x it melted off. Now I’m struggling to see results.

I’m experiencing it ok but I know that if I cheat in any way ( too much turkey bacon or coffee ) I don’t loose.

Thanks, everyone! Following protocol 100%. It's finally starting to go down this week more steadily but I'm in week 8. It's been a tough month- the scale was not moving!

Are you the same size you were when you did it the first time ?
by (1.2k points)
No. I started at 213 last year, got down to 140 and now I restarted 1. 5 months ago at 165

Ok .  do you have a chart with your weight loss from last time ? How was your weekly loss around this weight?

@bureaucrat I feel its harder to lose weight when u are smaller. I see many people losing crazy numbers a week but some have a lot more to lose.

This is my 2nd time around. I was on it 3 yrs ago. Last time, I lost a lot of inches really fast, now I'm losing the weight every week, but inches ate very slow.

Same for me. The first time it came off fast and as though this time is a lot slower. Maybe at the turtle pace it will stay off. I keep trying to tell myself that at least. Any amount is better than gaining
