I started last week so I’m new  would love a small group to chat with, share ideas with, accountability, etc. I have 50-100 to lose. Not sure how far I’ll go. My concern is maintenance afterward

@siderite860 hi, Marilyn, this plan works. I am down 126 pounds with 4 more to go. Take baby steps. You got this! Don’t worry about maintenance at this time. Concentrate on your loss and celebrate your successes!

@runge84 I know, but how do we get over this? I can’t imagine a lot of people stayed on IP protocol for a year and lost 100+ lbs. I really admire their discipline and want to learn their secrets. I only have about 20 lbs to lose.

I finally committed 1000% last Thursday with 33# to lose, SW:163 & GW:130, I’m 5ft5in, no more in and out of protocol/keto because of my overwhelming job as a RN, COVID, Quarantine and the list goes on and on basically NO MORE BS EXCUSES  Either I’m all in or I’m not, so far so good with Day #4 and 1000% on protocol and I’m staring to feel better, keto flu didn’t hit me to hard this time. We all can do this and I’m all about lifting each other up, encouraging and motivating when those days just seem so impossible, so please add. Everyday I start my journal with the title “Light Bulb” any epiphanies or realizations that have come to light for me understanding my WHY I write it down, it keeps me grounded but most of all from self sabotaging my goals.

@cravens good luck ! I’m 5’2 169 pounds. I need to lose 30-40 pounds. Let’s do this . I’ve also gained a lot from stress . But no more excuses . My son is getting married in September. Promised myself this week this year and have it feel lousy

@sesquiplane I have faith in you and alllllll of us we can do this the more united we are in our efforts to achieve and sustain our goals. Anytime you want reassurance, encouragement or that non sugar coated pep talk, reach out to me and that goes for everyone else too, because I have those days where I just need that oops upside my head to get me back in the game.

@shiff17234 I just had a baby and I’m 43. You are so right I’ve gained so much more this time and my body won’t shed anything. I’m on day 5 today but having babies in your 40’s does something crazy for your body! But we got this .
