Is anybody else like me, only posting your weight loss journey on this page? For some reason, I don’t understand, I don’t want to share this with my Facebook friends and family.

I didn't tell anybody I was even doing this except my mom and husband for like 2 months. I lost over 40 lbs so far and I can count on one hand the compliments I have gotten from friends. I have learned alot through all this with all the negativity people have but it actually just makes me want it even more!

@anastice I know it's sad. I know I have people betting that I'll gain it all back. But honestly I have never been so determined in my life about something.

@critic87 Some people don’t like to comment on others weight. I never make comments on someone’s weight. I also hate having to talk about the diet. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Like I’m bragging or something.

@favored I can see that. I feel like that too

I text my husband once I finish my weigh in with the total lost for the week. I'm not posting it online but some people at work will ask me each week. I share with them.

I post on my personal Facebook every now and then. I think if anyone doesn’t like it, I don’t care! This is my journey and so far a lot of people have been so supportive.

I did not share my journey on Facebook until I was nearly done losing and people in public dis not recognize me anymore. So I posted an after pic telling people I lost almost 100 lbs and that this is me now, so please say hi when you see me and not act like we haven't known each other for years. Lol

I don't share with family or friends because sadly i get criticized. I had a relative message me once & say with All this dieting and working out u better b a size 2 next time i see you. So. I don't post any success
by (7.3k points)
@metalware size 2 is not always success. Success is when you realize how important you are and are comfortable with yourself. You are a winner no matter what size.

@faust thank you. My main goal isn't necessarily to lose weight. My main goal was at 1st to get my diabetics under control. I believe life is more important. Now that I've done that. now i can concentrate more on weight loss.

10 months into the program someone at work (another office) mentioned that I had lost a lot of weight. I've been on this or a year and lost 73 lbs. ; would be more but had a setback after my mother passed away. But I maintained and kept my weight within 5 lbs. Now I'm back on track. My co-workers know I'm on the protocol altho I have to remind them it's "not keto" like some of the guys are doing so I can't feast on bacon and cheese - LOL! They're Marines, what can I say? :) I post on Janeva's site and here because of the great support offered. Once in a while I will post on my public FB page.

When I diet I usually post it to Instagram and facebook, but this time around I want to keep to myself because If i mess up i don't want to look like a failure. Plus I want people to be wowed when they see me. Good luck on your journey
