I'm not a doctor, but I am a coach who has had to face this reality with potential clients. No. Unfortunately, this protocol is not appropriate for those with advanced kidney disease. The kidneys are extensively involved with two key processes that play a major part in the Ideal Protein protocol. This has gone through Ideal Protein's scientific support.

I think I would clear it with her doctor to be safe.
