I drink them occasionally- even if I’m just peeing it out I feel better right after drinking it. ‍♀️

@excretory I swear I just started again 2day. and have signs of keto flu already. Had a ketone drink this afternoon.

They aren't protocol and you really shouldn't be using them. They're actually no good.

@gearalt60422 it should help with the keto flu because of the added salt. I like the flavor of the shakes from pruvit- but man they are expensive! I’ve recently found this powder that is different, I’ve been thinking about trying this brand1 but obviously not eating the carbs it says you can eat.

@excretory let me know how it goes. I found a cheaper powder on amazon close to the raspberry lemonade by pruvit

They are playing on the popularity of being "in ketosis" by adding ketones to the body that show up on a stick. Seeing ketones on a stick is of no value. it is the nutritional process our body goes through to make ketones that helps us burn fat. SAVE YOUR $$$ to spend on all the new clothes you will need!

@gearalt60422 You will go into ketosis 60 minutes after drinking it

@heywood no way that is true.

@stieglitz yes it is very true I did a lot of research on the Prüvit ones

Taking ketones just means you pee ketones. They don’t help you get into ketosis, only limiting carbs does. I have heard that they can help with side effects/keto flu. Otherwise, just a waste if $$

No it doesn’t help you burn your own fat to ketones, not protocol either

Great idea if you feel like flushing money down the toilet. Not a great idea imo, just a money making scheme mostly

Waste of money, pure hype. These products cannot and do not put your body into nutritional ketosis. The only research these products fall back on is that the urine shows ketones because you're drinking and peeing them. That is not nutritional ketosis. To be in nutritional ketosis and burn fat, your body needs to be producing acetoacetate and beta-hydroxybutyrate. Ketone drinks only have beta-hydroxybutyrate. Acetoacetate is the primary keytone needed for ketosis and cannot be artificially reproduced as a supplement. Therefore, these supplements simply mimic one part of ketosis and are a waste of money.
