In need of desperate help I am hoping this is just a bump in the road. I am a week and a half into the IP protocol and if I look at a raw, roasted, or steamed veggie I literally gag! What do you do with veggies?

I make mashed cauliflower that is supposed to mimic mashed potatoes. Not bad. I put lots of seasoning in it. I particularly like it with Geneva’s tiki masala and the Dijon chicken.

Order Janevas cookbook and join Facebook group. Absolute game changer and worth every penny. We wouldn’t have made it past week 1 without it.

I second the cookbook!

@cholecystectomy it’s absolutely worth it! Make sure you buy the one with green & orange on the cover. Her website is the best price. Also she has a FB page that has some recipes to get you started.

I eat zucchini noodles a lot. Sauté in a little oil and then add seasoning and shrimp or chicken. Tonight I made tomato sauce and added some mushrooms & spinach in there with the beef.

If you saute frozen cauliflower rice instead of microwave, it takes out the veggie flavor. Add spices to match cuisine. A favorite is chili powder, cumin, granulated garlic, granulated onion, dried onion, etc then a Tablespoon or two of tomato paste and water) or sugar free salsa. Sauté till a bit dry. Can do for Asian also.
