Has/does anyone do CrossFit while on phase 1? My coach told me not to exercise but CrossFit is more than just a work out for me. It helps significantly with anxiety and my overall mood. I’m not willing to give it up. Should I add in anything extra to help give me enough “strength” to get through the workout?

BCAA’s and an extra packet if needed. If you are already used to doing the program your body isn’t going to take it as hard of a shock. But continue to talk to your coach and LISTEN to your body, eat an extra packet if necessary. Also keep in mind that being on the program itself should help with your anxiety. Mine is completely gone since starting program.

THIS. I work out 5 days a week. I'm losing weight (fat not muscle) by doing this.

You should speak to your coach. but yes, if you should definitely add something as the normal phase 1 . you definitely should not be doing crossfit. not enough calories intake for that

I also do CrossFit, but modify most of it. I have been on IP for about 3 weeks and have mostly been trying to stay away from the heavy lifting and mostly do bodyweight stuff. If I need it, on those days, I will eat an extra packet.

I do OTF three times a week for the same reasons. It keeps me emotionally balanced. My coach recommended I add an extra packet/calories on my workout days. I haven’t had any issues.

We were told specifically at the seminar not to do things like CrossFit in phase 1

I teach Pound, do Zumba and walk. If I need an extra packet I usually do a drink between the two classes.

They do have an alternative program for people who want to exercise.

Add an extra shake after. I worked out everyday on IP 45-60 min weights, ! cardio, etc. I’m the same way.
