I roast almost everything. And pretty much burn it. Once everything is really good and browned the flavors really come out. And it's not as much of a mushy mess as steaming. And you can often get away with just a good Spritz from the Pam olive oil.

yes-broil on high. Broccoli, cauliflower, okra, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, zucchini. and my new fave, baby cauliflower. For Brussels sprouts I do steam in the microwave for a few minutes first to cook them all the way thru.

Microwave or in a pan using a little non-stick spray. Add your required 2 tsp of oil n your food because you need to ingest it all. The fat and calories are necessary to run body functions and support the necessary calories you need each day.

If I sauté some, then I often add steamed broccoli so they aren’t all cooked in oil

I usually roast or sauce with a little oil. When I first started my husband (who does most of the cooking) used to douce everything with olive oil. Throughout this he learned you really don't need much. I still have to watch him but he's been really good. One time he did sooo up and it was unreal how much I could taste the olive oil. It was disgusting

I sauté in a little xvoo and sometimes add some chicken or beef broth then sprinkle a little xanthum gum, stir it thickens enough to stick to the veggies. Splash some soy sauce - and of course some IP SALT and some pepper to taste.
