I'm 2 weeks in and I was just wondering is anyone else always cold? Before I started I actually ran a bit hot. No everyday after lunch I'm just so cold, ice cold hands, ice cold feet. it doesn't matter where I am. Cold, cold, cold.

We freeze more specifically after our meal . I think your temp drops when insulin releases to process the food or something like that . keto chills

I’m the same, I’d wake up soaking wet and had flashes all the time. Now I’m an ice cube! Fingers, nose, and toes.

Yes I wear heavier socks and use hand warmers in the winter. Worth it since I have lost 50+ lbs. the fat used to heat me up, I prefer the weight loss.

I wonder if it’s because of the lack of calories and the quality of the food you are now putting into your body. I know when I eat a heavy carb loaded meal my body has to work extra hard to digest and burn off the sugars and I will actually get the sweats afterwards. When I’m following protocol to a Tee I’m often cold too.

And it doesn’t help that my office temp is slightly warmer than a meat locker.

Work with a functional practitioner to check your thyroid. Ketosis does not cause you to feel cold.
