I learned something critical at my weigh in today. I’ve been using Ripple in my coffee. No weight loss and 1/2# gain this week! What?  My food diary is perfect except. Ripple 1/2&1/2. It has PURE CANE SUGAR added! Do not use it. New lessons every week. I love this journey I’m on.

The educational opportunity with IP is sooo good if you just pay attention.

@kennith it truly is! I’m an RN so I know the ins and outs of nutrition but this takes it to another level of awareness

@absolutely I agree. I've been in maintenance for almost 3 years. If it wasn't for IP I would not be able to do this.

I give my child ripple unsweetened original milk ( not the creamer) and dilute the chocolate milk as well. Maybe during matinance the unsweetened original milk would be an option since it has higher protein.

@parotid my dr told me heavy whipping cream is ok.

@absolutely same. 2tbs a day or something like that.

@parotid that’s what I’ve always been told. He said today that whatever amount won’t hurt. Not sure I want to test that theory out.

If you want to stay true to the protocol, use a bit of the IP shake (van, choc and Capacc. Are all excellent in coffee) - It takes care of both cream and sweetener for me.
