I would replace the coconut oil with olive oil, no cooked onions - chicken broth has to be 0 sugar, I would replace the almond milk with the IP Vanilla preparation

I am not sure about the vanilla preparation. Will that give it an vanilla-y flavor?

Almond milk tastes like vanilla no?

They have unsweetened almond milk. It tastes like regular milk kinda.

I will probably just use the unsweetened almond milk and call it good. It has like 1 g of carbs in a 1/2 cup.

@collectivity instead of almond milk, use half and half or regular milk as one of your extras for the day

Ooooo thank you!

@emersonemery good idea thank you

@collectivity but maybe the almond milk would be better for you. I don’t have one to look at nutrition label but I would compare them to see

@collectivity 1 oz milk max. More is not an extra

We can’t have almond milk or cooked onion so you’d have to make some adjustments for sure

@deeplaid8 Lots of support in this post for off plan advice. 1 oz milk per day (milk, half n half, almond milk). No vegan butter.

Thanks! Good to know. Regardless if it is on or off plan, I am so thankful that I have this community to turn to for support.

@deeplaid8 It's always good to ask. Not everyone follows the plan as designed so also good to get multiple comments and decide how you choose to approach the plan.
