Am I the only one that finds IP easier than “real” food? Fewer choices and frankly don’t have to think about food very much especially since in ketosis I don’t find myself hungry. Anyone else in the same boat?

Yes. I would much rather just eat a salad and/or some fresh veggies and an IP food and call it good. So much easier than having to cook or plan meals.

And . if you have enough “astronaut food” (as my family calls it) the pandemic is meh for food supply!

I have trouble eating 8 oz of meat. Would just like the salads only.

@halsey78 try only 4 ounces

@halsey78 You must be in Canada because the U. S. downgraded to 4 to 6 oz.

@masseur yes I am in Canada. Thanks will try less.

@posada68362 thanks. Will try that.

@halsey78 I used to split it up when I did 8. 4 at lunch and 4 at dinner. 8 all at once is really hard

I think if I lived by myself I would feel this way. But I am cooking for my family and although I try to keep what I feed them on protocol I still fix them some things for sides that I can't have. And I want to eat all the things. I did really great my first 6 months, lost 70 pounds. Since the pandemic and having everyone here all the time I have really been struggling. I still need to lose about 65 pounds so I truly need to get my act together.

I find it much easier to eat regular food and I’m not a veggie eater at all.

Easy for me. No one wants my frozen zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice at wegmen’s so it is always stocked! Lol

I like that it is limited and it takes away any indecision about what to eat.

I find it so much easier with my busy work schedule to be able to just grab a packet and go and only have to think about 1 meal to prepare. I walk a lot for work so find myself more hungry but this is working for me

Oh and the instant pot - gold. In less than an hour I’ve got 6 cups of rhubarb, 4 cups of chayote and 7 hard boiled eggs.

I love how easy it is. I never have to wonder how much of something "non-protocol" I could have because I know I can't have it at all. While it sometimes sucks that I can't have birthday cake or fruit or carrots. it is so much easier.

Thats why I love it. I dont wirry about making up different meals or coming up with ideas. Thats too much work and easy peasy makes it easier to stick to. I find I have enough choices with the food to switch it up. Too many contrived meals just makes me hungry for the foods I used to always eat.

For sure! I’ve been off since November though and I literally don’t know how to eat. Lost 40 already put 25 back on.
