It’s so frustrating! Any suggestions? Thanks!

It may sound crazy, but try a 4th packet for a few days then drop back to 3 to shake things up. Sometimes our bodies stop responding to the deprivation and taking in a little extra can help

Switch up your food choices. maybe try replacing the chips or soy puffs with either the vanilla pudding packet or soup. plus make sure you’re getting all your water in. Water enhancers are great !

Are you drinking all of your water? Try upping your intake. Switch out your veggies and meat. I incorporate shrimp a few times a week as well.

Do you do any exercise ? Like walking? I know supposed to watch heart rate , but maybe that would help

I have heard changing up your food during a plateau is helpful. I have also heard some coaches recommend a big cheat day when you hit a long term plateau.

Try eating Protien for lunch instead of supper

Are you taking all of the IP supplements?

Did you try adding 1/8 tsp of the ideal salt to water and drink it once a day? That sometimes helps.

Make sure you are drinking all the water (plus) you need, perhaps start weighing your veggies if you are not already, make sure you are getting in the oil and IP salt/supplements and add a salad to dinner. I try to have fish 2x a week and a large omelette 1x a week for dinner and this may help.

Stress. More specifically stress and the hormones that are trying to help keep you upright I would suggest an increase in water, make sure you are getting all the salt and oil in too. Incorporate a calming ritual that makes you feel more like yourself, an epsom bath with lavender, a walk in nature, gardening, painting, etc. This can’t be a fight with your body, its more of a partnership dynamic. IMHO. Enjoy the journey

I heard to add an extra protein, hard boiled egg or something like this. worked for me. add more water if you can and a bit more activity!

You also might consider changing some of the foods that you eat. have a spinach salad (or change the lettuces in your salad) swap out your veggies like broccoli for zucchini or cauliflower, have green beans or tomatoes etc. it seemed to work for me when I hit a plateau.

Chose liquids for your 3 IP choices. Cut out meat for 3-5 days & have fish. Watch your portion size - we all get complacent with this as we progress.

You can try a reboot for 3 days. Instead of your protein - eat 2 packets. Total of 5 per day.

Go drinks for your 3 packets if possible and change up your norm- body adjusts when you keep all the same

Squash? I didn’t think that was a veg option for protocol? I found when I hit plateau that i had to put aside my usual picks and do something completely different.

@herries squash is absolutely a veggie option . fyi

Chips and puffs might be too much for a body that is 30 lbs less. Make a change, try a powered drink for one of those and a soup for the other

Try a restricted a couple times a week

Switch up your daily habits. Your body knows what's coming and so is comfortable. You need to consistently change what you have every day to keep your body guessing and working.

Change everything up - change vegetables to cruciferous vegetables, add in some red meat, add in a soup or savory packet or packets vs 3 sweet ones.

@rosinweed83 totally agree. This works for me! Change it up. If you always have a restricted, then skip some days. If you never have a restricted- add one in! Different proteins, different veggies. Your body has adjusted. Wish you the best!

Hi, I am in nearly the same situation but keep plugging and it is moving a little again. These are all great suggestions, but it sounds like the last 15-20 are going to come off slower.

Hi friend I don't personally know! I've been coaching IP for five years. I have some ideas for you. DM me if you want to talk.

@goober I'm having the same issue. can I PM u? My coach recommended taking a break from the program or doing the alternative program for a little while. but I dont want to do that
by (11.6k points)
@goober no, try mixing things up! Aim for ten different veggies in a week, mix up your snacks, etc. Get all your vitamins, use the IP detox or floralax. lots of options!

@saltarello absolutely! We can keep you on the diet and figure out what's going on.
