Welcome and good luck to you on your journey. Under daily essentials on the sheet it lists the amount of oil. 2 tps. Yes, eggs are allowed. Those are listed under the protein group. There are some people who are in the approved alternative phase 1 which allows for cottage cheese and fruits. Hope that helps!

@cerotype I was told to limit to 2 whole eggs per day. So 2 whole eggs = 4 oz protein. then I add 2 egg whites to = 6 oz protein

Your sheet has all the info on it. You may have missed it. The people who get fruit and other stuff are doing the diabetic plan

No fruit , 2 tsp oil per day and a egg here and there to help get thru the hunger is ok but not cottage cheese

@grandsire8642 You don’t need to eat an egg here and there and you don’t have to have it just to get through your hunger. You can eat it for your protein just like you eat pork or beef or fish, etc.

Do you have the sheet, Donna? Oil is listed under Daily Essentials on the top right -- 2 tsp per day, the allowed oils are listed at the bottom of the sheet. Eggs are a Whole Protein Source in the middle, under Poultry -- 6 eggs total, 2-4 of which can be whole and the remainder egg whites. No fruit, no dairy, except for the 1oz (2 tablespoons) permitted a day. Good luck!

I was on this program for some time and went off for a few months. I just restarted with a new clinic last week and noticed the cottage cheese and fruit that is on the list. I was wondering why because I know that was not on my old plan.

The Alternative plan which some ppl start out on does allow cottage cheese and some fruit. But only a small amount.

@taipan9 mentioned the alternative plan which is for diabetics and athletes. Find what products u like and which ones u don’t but keep in mind some people’s taste buds change and something they didn’t like at first they may like after a few day’s/ weeks

I was constantly told “ Eat the sheet”. Don’t deviate. I lost 87 in a year so stick with the plan

Alternative plan has bread, fruit, and dairy. This is for diabetics or hypoglycemics like me.

Just heading to bed- thanks to all of you wonderful people for your encouragement today. Day 1 went well- food wise I was perfect! The only thing I could have done better was drink more water! That’s my goal for tomorrow, and a long walk. I’m feeling good- feeling positive and excited to finally finally finally see some scale movement soon! Thanks again

No fruit or dairy. Eggs you can have. I have one boil egg mid morning and one mid afternoon that way I take 3oz if protein away from my supper meal. I find it’s just to much protein at one sitting so the two eggs are 1. 5 Oz per egg
