@hose639 with Champix. My husband quit with me so that helped. We’ve been smoke free for 3 months now. It’s hard though.

@hose639 unfortunately that is what happens. I could not get enough food in me. This is the biggest I have ever been which is why I’m trying this program.

Negativity Warning ⚠️ This gum thing has to be the one thing that I just can’t understand about this phase .

@illness the reason is that a piece of sugar free carb free gum can actually have up to . 999g of carbs and still be labeled as 0 carbs. If you have 1 or 2 pieces a day, not a big deal. but 4, 5 pieces a day will add 4 or 5 grams of carbs per day. That is why it is allowed only as one of your 4 extras.

@tallyman . Oh trust me I know it’s a whole science to this. And I know that you have to follow it exactly or it doesn’t work some days I just wanna roll my eyes till they get stuck in the back of my head though‍♀️ I feel this way bcuz I also question with it being this strict . how will i ever maintain in a real world.

Any sugar free gum and one piece is counted as one of your extras for the day (4 extras allowed per day). As with all sugar free products. gum, sparkling waters, etc. They can claim something is sugar free with it containing . 9999999 grams of sugar - this adds up and is the reason for only the 4 extras and the limit to these things.

Just make sure you keep it away from puppers always. Xylitol is toxic to them.
