Question and I am sure this had been asked and answered but. the sheet says for lunch IP product and two cups veggies AND a salad. do I need to eat that salad if not hungry? Do I have to much on the free veggies. carrots and celery or what ever? Asking for a friend (kidding it’s me)

I just use my 2 cups of select vegetables as my salad, sometimes I add a little extra lettuce or something from the unlimited choices.

You can’t have carrots, but the salad and leafy green will help with the roughage. Your select you want to make sure you don’t go over on because of carbs

Notice it says Optional Unlimited raw vegetables and lettuces. So only if you feel like you need more to eat. Also, carrots are not allowed at all.

I always eat an ip product and 2 cups veggies. I think that's just a guide. You can alternate and move things around to fit your day. Like for example today I am having 2 ip products for lunch and my snack later will be my 2 cups veggies. I am eating chilli today and I had chilli dorados and thought that might be a good combo. I am also at work today so it was easier.

@prolongation nice. The last few days I had the chilli and I mixed peppers and raw onions in it. Btw it is sooo much better cooking it on the stove!

@stork97 -having 2 IPs for lunch is too much protein all at once. The reason the IPs are spread throughout the day is to keep your insulin levels steady and keep your energy nice and steady. Remember it is like feeding a fire (your metabolism) - you want a nice steady burn all day long.

I move my food all around. Never eat a salad. I usually have 1 ip food and 1 cup veggies for lunch and have 3 cups at dinner

@anselmi I almost always have a vanilla crisp square. I am a Realtor so most days I have lunch in my car. I am not a fan of the soups

No sheet now nor in the past five + years say to eat a salad for lunch. It is 2 cups veg and there is an optional unlimited veggie note. Doesn't sound like you have the current sheet.

@prolongation This is just your clinic. Most do not give a daily meal plan. Salad is not at all required. Do they make you eat this plan? Mist places you choose what to eat each day.

I started in Oct with the older sheet. Since then a new sheet came out. I still follow the old sheet and I have been consistently losing 3 lbs a week. New sheet, old sheet it all still works.
