Everyone loses different in week one due to their glycogen/water tank. I lose 12lbs in week one. Did I do anything different than someone who loses 3lbs? No. I simply carry more glycogen in my muscles and liver (and have a higher muscle mass than most women my height and size). Whatever you lose in your first week will be what your coach should advise you that you will lose IF you put carbs back in for your maintenance (or if you deviate from plan! ) I say IF, as many of us adopt a low carb lifestyle ongoing.
