I’m on day 12, and have only lost 2 pounds. I believe I’m following the sheet very closely but am stumped. Am getting concerned that maybe this won’t work for me. Did anyone else have a slow start? I just can’t figure out why.

I gained weight the second week but ended up losing 40lbs total in the program. It will get better after the first few weeks. Any little cheat can keep you out of ketosis though

@yurt everyone is different. Also, be sure you are weighing your veggies correctly. I was just measuring a cup the first week and then my coach caught it. you have to follow the conversion guide. Believe it or not even a little too many veggies can keep you from getting into ketosis. You have to follow protocol

I started slow. One thing I did was switch my protein to lunch with a huge salad and did a packet at night. It helped tremendously. I also had no restricted items.

@codycoe yeah my coach didn’t like it but when she saw it worked she was good with it.

@codycoe because she said if I ate my meat at lunch it would slow down the weight loss or something similar.

You could be losing inches. Weight does shift.

Make sure you are charting everything you eat and have your coach check it. There may be something you are consuming that isn’t on the sheet and could be slowing down your losses.

Write down everything you put in your mouth. EVERYTHING. Then bring it to your coach.

Lots of water and make sure you are measuring everything prior to cooking.
