@makalu34365 shakes are definitely the best.
by (4.4k points)
@makalu34365 have you tried the mug cakes? the Mushroom risotto and Chili are yummy, esp with added riced cauliflower for bulk! delicious!

I drank 2 to 3 shakes a day and the one restricted . I had tried the soup and I pretty much figured out no need to try others . Besides the shakes kept me full . I don’t think the soups etc will do that
by (3.8k points)
@lonee The IP ready made shakes?

I make burger buns out of the soups! With Janeva’s potato purée naan recipe or the mushroom pita recipe (basically the same thing). They’re actually pretty darn good and I eat them with mushroom broccoli (+1oz ground turkey to stick) burgers and WF ketchup.
by (4.4k points)
@@ziagos I sent you a request- can you tell more about this recipe for the burger?
by (9.1k points)
1 c ground mushrooms (in a blender or processor) 1 c ground broccoli, 8 oz ground turkey - split into 8 servings + your own seasonings

I felt the same way. I use the shakes. My clinic gave me a recipe for muffins. It’s been a life saver. 1 packet of either maple oatmeal apple oatmeal or crispy cereal or pancake mix plus 1 packet of either chocolate shake mix vanilla shake mix or wild berry shake mix or vanilla chai mix this with 1/3 cup of egg whites 1/3 cup of water 1tsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of baking powder. You can add in a tablespoon of WF fruit spread or WF chocolate syrup for flavour. Bake at 350 for about 12-15 min. It makes 4-6 muffins depending on your pan. 2-3 is equal to 1 unrestricted. I usually drizzle some WF syrup on top or add some cinnamon into the batter for added flavor. So many varieties are possible and super yummy

@embree this sounds great! I hate the maple oatmeal but this sounds delicious. I wonder if cappuccino shakes will work
by (810 points)
@unwarranted449 as long as it’s the powder your good!
by (1.9k points)
Its not, but maybe I’ll try it.

I actually like the choc coconut bars, Carmel peanut bars, apple oatmeal but I add cinnamon and the premade vanilla shakes aren’t bad with coffee or espresso. I’m not willing to try anything else until I can’t eat those anymore. People rave about the choc soy puffs.

I don’t mind any of them. I paid for them, I’ll eat them (dammit), but then I grew up a paid up for life member of the Clean Your Plate Club AND the Sit there all night until you do eat it, AND the fine, go to bed and it’s there for breakfast. And mom made liver and onions regularly. The problem is that we ALL have become so used to the over processed foods with fats and salts and SUGAR and soooooo many other things that are terrible for us that trying to break those bad habits is freakin’ HARD. BE A USMarine mindset. do it. Chug it. Swallow it. It’s nourishment. If you just can’t, then ask if there’s a local IP group and start a swap meet. My coach sells individual packs of any product. Yours might?

Chicken soup: sauté green onion & celery. Just to soften. Add shredded chicken to warm and steamed cauliflower rice. Heat the soup but when you measure the water, add an extra 2oz of water when measuring. Once done, add shredded chicken, green onion, celery and pepper to taste. The same as above for mushroom soup but sauté mushrooms with the green onion and celery. Enjoy!

Measure all your veggies to make up the 2C you need.

@beers9790 I like your suggestions but I use chicken broth instead of water with IP soups. Gives it more flavor.
by (10k points)
@qr48 ooh I’ve done that too! Forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder!

You can use the soups to add flavor to other things. I make mock cauliflower risotto. I first stir fry riced cauliflower with a tablespoon of olive oil. I then make a sauce using a few teaspoons of soup mix, mixed into about 4oz of warmed approved broth with added garlic and onion powders. Mix that into the cauliflower and continue to stir fry until sauce has thickened. So yummy!

I live on the drinks and bars. Smoothies with the pudding mixes are great. Add some marshmallow from Walden Farms and it’s like a smoothie. All the regular food products are horrible.
by (2.3k points)
@makalu34365 from Amazon. With the vanilla pudding mix and lemon extract it tastes like a fluffy lemon soft serve. Recipe is in the cookbook.
by (2.3k points)
It is. I’ve been on it since August and it becomes routine. I refuse to eat that horrible stuff. They all have that weird taste. Chemical? Idk?

I stick to the vanilla drink mix bcz I can’t stand the soups or most of the chips (salt & vinegar ). I do like the BBQ chips but would want to eat them all at once. they’re that good. Instead I try to make zucchini chips in the air fryer.
by (2.2k points)
@makalu34365 got mine at Walmart for about $60-90. It has a rotisserie and baskets, too. You’ll love it!

@makalu34365 Get on QVC so you can make tiny payments! The thing works great! You can even air fry brussels sprouts!
by (2.2k points)
@plectrum99 not at all. the trays come out. I’m not a huge fan of the round basket though since that one is harder to clean if something burns on it (zucchini chips) since you can’t soak it with all the holes.

I blend in vegetables & add pepper, onion powder, garlic powder & not sauce to the cream chicken soup. Sometimes add more low sodium chicken broth. Doable that way.
