I took this entire week off. I was 100% on plan for 5 months, and my goal was to get to Spring break, where I was taking my family to FL and then take a few days for my trip. Well, no trip obviously but I mentally needed this week for me. and gonna give myself some grace thru Easter and then get back on Monday AM. 43lbs down and 10-15 more to go ! Xoxo.

@diedrediefenbaker92 I’m 45 down too. I have 35-40 more. Sorry about your trip. We cancelled spring break plans too. And I hadn’t thought of that-I would definitely have taken longer off plan had our spring break plans worked. I feel better already.

@makalu34365 yep! I mean, ideally I have 30 more lbs to go to be my skinniest ever (aka even less than my 20 year old self lol). but realistically I’d be thrilled with 10-15 more. One thing I’ve really tried to embrace is that this is a marathon for me - I will always have to eat healthy to sustain my optimal health, fitness and weight. So after 5 months I’m gonna give myself some grace. and then get back to it Monday . We have to love ourselves first. We got THIS! Xoxo Happy Easter all !

I'm not taking the day off but I've made the decision to have a half of piece of some special french toast I'm cooking for my family. The rest is protocol and so is dinner.

@fulgurite I am planning just to have lunch.

I took off yesterday. 9 weeks in. I was supposed to be on vacation so I had planned to take this whole week off from the beginning. I ate a lot yesterday. I felt like crap and was up 2 lbs this morning. Today I am back on 100% and will stay on until I hit my goal 10ish more lbs. but especially during this crazy time it was a nice break

I’ll go off plan for Passover Seder tonight but I will keep portion sizes reasonable and be back on plan 100% tomorrow until I reach my goal. It will be okay.
by (5.7k points)
@aristides Lazar that’s my plan too. We should check in on Monday so they we both make sure we’re back on  Happy Passover!

@makalu34365 Great idea! Thank you!

I'm already into the gluten free matzah. :-D

@makalu34365 How was your Seder? Our Seder was lovely. I ate more than I intended to, but didn’t quite go off the deep end. Long walk afterward has helped, but I’m sure my body will feel it in the morning. Back on plan 100% tomorrow. The good news is that it was good, but tomorrow I won’t miss it.

I have only been on the program for 5 1/2 weeks so I am afraid to go off protocol. I fear I will be sick. I have lost 16. 5 lbs in 5 weeks so I don’t want to chance it. Just wondering, does it make a huge difference if you do go off for a day or 2?
by (5.7k points)
@impalpable I’ve been on for 2. 5 months and have not gone off plan yet. I’m hoping it does not make too much difference.

I've been off protocol for about 2 weeks now due to COVID-19. I've gained some weight back but I'm staying as strong as I can during these tough times. Am going back on the protocol once I can get back to work! Stay strong everyone!

@hypo5 yes ! Give yourself some grace with everything going on. Back at it soon! Just commit and you wil do it !

No I did celebrate New Year’s Day in memory of my Mother 4 small rolls of sushi on real rice and when I was taken off my Cpap machine 4 small rolls of sushi. I told my coach I was going to celebrate and she understood and I still lost weight both times. Moderation to the max I didn’t try to pig out. I totally understand

We celebrated Easter yesterday because of my work schedule. I had deviled eggs (I made my few with WF mayo), calamari salad (I made mine with white vinegar), tossed salad, salmon, broccoli rabe and asparagus . for dessert I made a rhubarb crisp. Everything was on protocol. I was stuffed and satisfied. It’s very easy to stay on track with a little extra planning. Today I woke up proud of myself and I never once felt like I was missing out .
