I stopped in December because my location closed. I’m starting up again tomorrow. but I have a question. My new coach said the Protocol changed. is it a better protocol or is it about the same? Do you lose weight faster? What’s the difference.

It's less protein at dinner and some of the vegetables have been reclassified.

They just changed some things . Not much different . You can have salmon now everyday if you want . You get 4-6 oz of protein instead of 8 oz .

Has anyone noticed faster weight loss when you don’t eat solids? When I ate oatmeal , shakes and pudding through the week, it came off faster than when I ate breakfast bars and had chips or crisps.

Yes! My coach recommended sticking to oatmeal, shakes, or pudding If I wanted to see greater losses.

Yes -- I noticed I lost faster when I ate a lot of soup like zoodle pho and cabbage roll soup

I’m just trying to figure out the best way to kick start it again.

I eat no restricted and I only have a high carb unrestricted like dorados and vanilla crispy squares, which are the only ones I buy, once a week now. I stick to drinks during the week and the difference in weigh loss is stark. From struggling with 2 # /wk, in am now losing 3/4 a week. I am heavy though.

Wow Lucy -- do you do anything with your drinks? Add veg etc? Do you do them for all meals? I'd be so hungry

They changed the protocol in my opinion for the better. We are allowed 4-6oz lean protein for 1 meal instead of 8. Many more options for oils and some vegetables changed to occasional and they added some new ones. Still 1 restricted per day but if you want to see faster results I would stick to the drinks and soups and stay away from all the delicious bars.
