You probably need a heavier breakfast. The shakes aren’t very filling. I usually have a bar or common puffs and coffee for breakfast and then a hard boiled egg a couple hours later when I’m busy and active.

What do you put into your shake? I add raw spinach, ice, splash of water and about 1/2 cup coffee to the chocolate drink mix. Blend into a 32 oz Nutribullet. Very satisfying.

I am a morning person and very active. A shake doesn't do it for me. I have 3 egg whites on top of the potatoe puree and I love it. Not hungry for 5/6 hours. And it only takes 2 minutes to put together. I put my oil in there also

Make waffles out of Dark Choc Pudding. It's very filling. The first 2 weeks are hard. Then ketosis kicks in and you will be less hungry. There were some meals I had to force myself to eat. I had no appetite.

Agreed hard boiled eggs are very filling and an easy snack when starving. Make a bunch and leave them in the fridge. Pickles saved me also. Eat pickles all day long.

@furlani I am pretty sure that pickles are limited so I would be careful with that.

Have an egg. It’ll help add a little and get you over this hump

The brownies will help you get thru until lunch. I found I needed soiled food for breakfast. Have the drink later in the day.

Unlimited veggies.

Unlimited raw vegetables and water is what saved me for the first little while. Once your body is in ketosis you don’t have the same hunger or the cravings.

Try hot decaf tea to hold you off or warm water that you can add lemon to if you have it

Week one you can have up to five packets a day if needed. But only one restricted per day tho
by (17.5k points)
@cuneal That’s only for people who have a lot to lose, and I believe it’s 4. Also, it’s not supposed to be for more than one week.
by (6.7k points)
@masseur that’s what I said above - “week one”. And I less they changed it with the new protocol it is 5 the first week
by (17.5k points)
@cuneal I just left my weigh in. Our clinic says four. Like everything else, different coaches say different things, I guess. I also asked her again about the weighing vs. measuring. She said the IP trainers that came in for the new protocol said it’s supposed to be measured. And we all know coaches aren’t saying that.

Water with a flavor enhancer (I love the lemon) and I always have a bag of raw veggies to snack on
