Stalls happen. Some people switch up their packets, drink more water and some do nothing at all. Have you measured? You still may be losing inches.

A week plateau is expected and not anything to get discouraged about even though I know it’s hard to stay positive. I don’t suggest cutting your calories.

When it happens I don’t eat my natural protein and replace it with 2 IP, s. I also do only drinks in the AM . I only do it for 2-3 days. Example: Orange drink IP Breakfast IP Pomegranate drink with unlimited veggies for lunch 2 broccoli cheese soup or chicken a la king with unlimited veggies IP peach mango or wild berry yogurt for snack. Hope this helps.

Do NOT cut your calorie intake. Gentle walking, stretching, etc is fine. You are not in a stall. A stall is four consecutive weeks with no loss of pounds or inches. We do not lose pounds every week. That is normal weight loss. We do not lose inches every week. That is normal weight loss. NOTHING is broken so nothing needs fixing. The last 10 or so pounds will come off MUCH more slowly than previous pounds. Just keep doing what you are doing. Measure inches each week as well as weight.

@footrope well said. I know this is upsetting but she need to calm down. stress is a major factor in slowing weight loss.

Have your thyroid checked. Eating a lot of eggs and dairy (including whey protein) will weaken a sluggish thyroid which slows your metabolism

I think you probably aren't eating enough

A week with no loss is NOT a stall. Plateaus are 6 or more weeks without any movement. Do NOT lower your calories. In fact, you likely need to add some calories. Shake up what you’re eating.

When I was in the similar situation, I changed my routine :chicken & fish instead of beef, No Restricted IP, one IP drink instead of bars, green and free veggies only and walking few days a week. It worked for me. Keep going you will be fine. Your body tries to hold her fat storage but it has to let it go. It is nothing unusual. Try to change your routine and be patient you will lose those 10 pounds. Don’t worry.

I found that if I have a cheat day one week, it seems to shake up my metabolism, and I start losing really well.

Maybe change a couple of your IP items to a drink packet. that helped me.

I had the same issue when J had a little less the. 10lb to go. I had a cheat day, not over board, it seemed to of jump started something and I started to lose again.

Eat more! No lie! I stall a lot, then I add more veggies and use more oil. Up the water too! You got this! 10 left! That’s great!

Sometimes your body needs more not less.

Aren’t there weeks during the losing journey where it is down or up or even, just our body adjusting? What does your coach say? I think they have tips if you plateau for a few weeks?

I’d be ecstatic if I only had 10 lbs to go! Great job

Change up what you are eating and maybe increase your protein to change it up. I would NOT include working out if you are only eating 700 calories. This will only cause you to loose muscle mass and not fat, which is important. I would also agree with @ipecac above!

I understand I was in a stall too and realized I was taking in too much protein and not enough good fat.
