We need to stop saying we "only" lost 1 lbs. That is 1 lb no longer there, that is 1 lb less than before and that is 1 lb of progress. What is your weekly average? Some weeks I lose a 1lb others are 2 or 3. My average is little under 2. 5 lbs a week. 1 lb is still progress

@hobby Agree. Thanks for the encouragement

Write down everything your eating and drinking. Ate u only eating 1 restricted and 2 unrestricted. Are you drinking at least 8 glasses of wayer a day and only eating the listed vegies. Any fruit being eaten. Just a few questions to ask yourself. I am sure the weight loss will kick in soon.

Gurl- same! I lost 4 the second week, then stalled on week 3&4. 35 days in (5 weeks today) and I’ve only lost 9 lbs.

I have never had the same as most people. Some weeks none, week of my period even up, it took a long time but I just roll with it now. Some weeks are better than others but overall losing.

If you can get out and walk everyday it really helps drink lots of water
by (360 points)
@ouzel Thats a good idea! I will start walking outside
by (8k points)
@lithiasis71 it really helps
by (8k points)
@lithiasis71 and there's nothing wrong with a pound a week at least you're not gaining you're still losing
by (360 points)
@ouzel Thats true! I just wanted to get sense of this
by (4.4k points)
@ouzel I walk every day up to 12, 000 steps and still only lost a pound or so a wo. Frustrating
by (8k points)
@deficiency8 but you're losing you're not gaining so that is a definite loss
by (4.4k points)
@ouzel true, but this is very expensive. And they tell you when you begin you will lose a lot more.
by (8k points)
@deficiency8 really my coach told me 1 to 2 pounds a week and I've Done 3 to 4 a week

Everyone has their own metabolism. But this diet will work the best or better than any other. Try walking 5000 - 10, 000 steps a day. That will help. Or as I do sometimes, just have Shakes for Breakfast & Lunch, then Ideal protein Supper.
by (360 points)
@deficiency8 Grim Thank you! Will definitely start walking

If your only on your 3rd week and ready to throw in the towel you’re going to have a hard time losing weight. This program works. You have to follow it EXACTLY! And. it takes a long time. You have to put every ounce of effort into losing weight. I lost 65 pounds in 7 months to get to a goal of 120. It’s not easy! I gained 30 back in 4 years. I’m doing this for the 2nd time (probably won’t be my last, it’s a struggle to eat like a bird for the rest of your life). I’m down 15 in 6 weeks. 15 to go.

@plea42 Thanks for sharing your experience!

@lithiasis71 you’re welcome. It’s definitely not easy, but it is so worth it.

I am all over the place too. Some weeks it’s 1 some it’s . 5. Other weeks it’s 2 or 3. I know when I exercise 3-4 times a week, it’s a consistent 1-2 a week

I way more during my cycle. Has your coach been measuring? Because if you’re not losing weight you may be losing inches!
by (360 points)
@oneirocritic No measuring! But I will pay attention if I am losing inches
by (2.1k points)
@oneirocritic that's me. I gained . 5 right before my cycle. I'm also hungry then too
by (3.6k points)
@alienate9725 I am too! I just talked to my coach about that! Needing another packet I was so hungry. (Which I know is a “cheat”) but I would have eaten things not good for me
by (3.6k points)
And I gained 1. 5 lb but still lost a couple of inches in my waist!
by (2.1k points)
@oneirocritic Yeah that happened last week

I typically only loose 1 or 1. 5 per week. Everyone is different. Talk to your coach they may have some suggestions for you.

I just finished week 2. My first week was 7. 8 lbs. this week was only about 1. 5. I imagine it’ll slow down a bit now. But everything is a set in the right direction! We’re all different. Keep it up ❤️

You are losing! You are not gaining!

That's still progress! Also, you could be gaining lean therefore the scales is not showing as much lose. What tips has your coach given you?

We too! I have been doing this for 6 weeks and only down 10 pounds. Getting very frustrated as this is really expensive

I know for me, when I don't get all of my water in "every day", I'll see it on the scale. Two weeks ago I was so busy that I missed my snack on two days and my water intake was low. I GAINED . 2 lbs! It was only . 2 lbs but it was still a gain.

Remember when we gain weight we don’t always gain every week. You should expect to lose as you gained.

@fiat9864 great advice.

Lack of sleep negatively affects my weight loss. I also seem to need variety. I change up my IP foods, plus veggies & proteins throughout the week. Salmon & steak are fairly reliable weight loss inducers. Turkey burgers were best in the beginning. I also broke up my protein between lunch & dinner but I don't do that as much now. I suggest trying new recipes, different IP foods, WF dressings to see what works best.

Watch condiments! Even gum if you chew enough of it! And sweetener! This is my enemy because I love my coffee. Water water water. And regular BMs. If not increase water add lemon and see if there is something else you can take

If it continues, talk to your coach and see if you might need to to the Re-Boot for a couple of days, if you are stalled it will have you back on track within 2-3 days usually.
