Not suppose too. You don’t take in enough calories. So you either need to have a extra packet or switch to the athletic/ diabetic protocol. Which then your losses will be slower because you won’t be in ketosis. You can do some moderate things, but nothing that raises your heart level.

@rudder31276 my husband did the secondary and lost about 2. 5 a week. he walked and biked. got to be careful. energy needed will come from someplace and don’t want it from muscle. A packet needs to be taken within 15 minutes of exercising.

I had no luck losing weight when being secondary and not exercising. I was 5 to 6 miles a day and losing an average of 2. 8 pounds a week

I didn’t when I first started but now I do daily walks/hikes, cycling and weights. I want to tone my body and I want to stay active to help keep the weight off once I reach maintenance. At least 5-6 days a week I am doing some form of exercise. But I do walk or hike every day.

Yes. I started 21 Day Fix 5 weeks ago (on my 2nd round now). I missed working out and asked my coach about it as I had been told previously you can’t workout, but she said you can just watch your heart rate.

I do Kayla Itsines’s beginner BBG— which is more of a toning exercise for 28 mins a day for 4 days a week and 2-3 days a week I play tennis with my husband and/or 10 yr old daughter. My coach said it is ok.

I refused to stop excersizing. Refused. Once you break the habit you don't go back. I excersize daily. I weight lift and cardio. I lose weight. Started 190. Down to 155. I lose slower but my muscles are always gaining. Slow and steady wins the race. My highest weight was 351, I had gastric then stage 4 cancer. Got down to 119 (I looked gross) anyway. My aim is 145. I built a gym during quarantine so I wouldn't quit. Just my humble opinion

I have tried exercising but I don't feel like the low calorie amount is enough to sustain anything strenuous. Maybe once I get to Phase 2 or 3?

Weights, yes. Cardio, no. It increased my appetite too much and I'm not eating enough calories for that sort of expenditure so I don't think it's worth the risk.
