I think our initial visit was like $380w/ lifetime membership, visits &included all supplements & a week of food , shakers & IP salt . Our boxes are about $30. per box , Ind packets are abt 4. 50, vitamins average about $30 per bottle , salad dressing $5. and water enhancers $5 per box . After reading a lot of this I am so grateful that our clinic is more focused on helping people reach their goals and they are just making a huge profit.

3 years ago, we charged 243. start up. That included a week’s worth of food, supplements, lots of literature, examples of menus, recipes. after that food was 28. 00 a box. No other monthly fees, even in just monthly visits. Plus we called yearly to come in for tune up, no cost except food. We charged for vitamins, of course, but it was their choice to purchase or find equivalent.

Start up fee was waived for me because they were running a special. I pay $33 per box of food, approx $7 for water enhancers, and i buy my own supplements because I have allergies. I'm appalled for those of you who's clinics are making this more expensive for you. No clinic in my area charges a monthly fee.

@blas10 where ?
by (2.4k points)
by (11.5k points)
@blas10 I wonder how much is shipping fees . I would totally order from there .
by (4.8k points)
@prescriptive97 you can not just order from a clinic . You have to be a dieter from that clinic. Shipping is expensive. Flat rate, would be cheapest $20. And if you order crisps ( chips) you can fit 1 box crisps and maybe 3 or 4 other boxes . What you going to safe on boxes of food you will pay on shipping. Clinics sign strict contracts with Ideal Protein. It cost a lot of money to run a clinic. I’m not sure how long you are on IP but have you notice how many clinics closed the last year. Clinics have to sell a lot of boxes of food to just cover expenses. Just rent cost more then a mortgage. Please support your clinic if you can, it’s hard to find a good coach. That is the only way your coach can pay herself. If you try to order from another clinic, your coach won’t see you. She cannot work for free. The $150 start up fee ( plus food) can not cover someone forever. A lot of people just wish to have a clinic close to them.
by (11.5k points)
@tiffa yes I would support my coach if that coach is not gauging prices . Why is my coach ( just an example ) putting prices so high up when another one has prices down . Cost of those foods is 50 -50 with ideal protein . They are absolutely not working for free .
by (4.8k points)
@prescriptive97 as mentioned depends it on where the clinic is - what it will cost to run a Bussiness. All clinics are independently owned, it’s not a franchise and to be honest most dieters that try to do it cheap or try to get discounts drops out and are not successful. Not saying that’s you. But I speak out of personal experience.
by (4.8k points)
@prescriptive97 what are you paying per box ? What was your food budget before the program? Seems like you think you coach is not worth the extra $1-3 that you feel you pay too much? Say it’s $3 a box - it’s $9 a week. What can you buy for $9? A Starbucks ? With some change. 2 IP products. Most coaches Will work with their dieters because they do it for the love of it. I’m a clinic owner and I don’t pay myself many months. If you really struggle to afford the program, talk to your coach and see, many will work with you and see how they can help you. But don’t bring it to social media and complain about a dollar or two. It’s very expensive to run a clinic. Clinics know it’s on them, they never try to put it on the dieter. They take the risk to sign contracts. Most of us are small business owners. Don’t get any bail outs or funding. If you don’t feel your clinic or coach is worth it, search with your zipcode closest clinics, ask their fees and maybe you find a better fit.
