I’m week 2 on my journey. I can’t find 1 thing that I like to eat if the prepackaged items. I’ve tried adding veggies but I can’t eat it. Any suggestions ? Am I the only one like this? Thanks

@evita I had a friend that had to switch as well as she hated everything thus program doesn’t work for all She did an alternative keto plan and it worked just not as strict so it took a little longer to lose but that’s ok as too fast is not good anyways hope u find something

What was your favorite type of food before trying ideal protein? Sweets? Salty? Savory?

Keep in mind your tastes will change and your body starts to detox. I didn’t like the oatmeal at first but now I do, and I add zucchini “apples” with them. Can you buy single packs of food or do you have to buy a whole box? For salty: I liked the bbq crisps, garlic and herb crisps, and the party mix. For sweets my absolute favorite was the chocolate soy puffs and the peanut butter bar. And the coconut bar was tasty, so was the chocolate mint. I wouldn’t give up just yet, give yourself time to adjust

So why don't you have a Shake in the morning have a salad for lunch with a bag of IP chips for dinner have 8 oz of lean meat with veggies for snack have a protein bar. You don't have to eat those meals. I didn't enjoy them either. Hope this helps

Your taste buds will change over the next couple weeks. Things you don't care for now may become your favorite. I love the chocolate chip pancake, vanilla crispy square (nuked for 15 seconds with cinnamon sprinkled on it), chocolate soy puffs, creamy chicken soup, the Chili is good. Just stick with it. Just think of the food as the tool that you need to be successful.

I didn’t like anything at first either. My taste buds changed after a while. maybe a month or so and things I hated turned into my favs!

I don't use many varied products. Just garlic and herb chips (lunch), some shakes (vanilla premade or wildberry) and the pb bar for an evening snack. I've also made italian/herb crackers with the crispy cereal. A few things I also liked have vanished.

If you like the chips and the drinks I would encourage you to do those for at least another two weeks before you make a hard decision to stop altogether. Give it a whole month and see what happens. You can have a drink in the morning for breakfast you can have chips for lunch you can have chips for a snack. Have you tried any of the bars or the crispy squares?

@evita buy individuals till you find what you like : best sellers are : Chocolate drink mix Maple Oatmeal Cappuccino drink mix . The premise vanilla drink in coffee All the wafers Caramel Nut Bar ( like sneaker bar) South West cheese curls . Nacho Ranch Dorados , Ranch Dorados , Vanilla crispy square Choc crispy square Choc soy puffs Sweet and spicy trail mix Chocolate Brownie . Hope this give you an idea .

My days are pretty repetitive with the things I like. Cappuccino drink for breakfast during the weekdays, I turn the chocolate chip pancake into a waffle every weekend (just add an egg) . Lunch is usually Ranch Chips, trail mix or Nacho Dorados with rotating veggies! (Although I’m hooked on rainbow salad right now! ). And then the snacks are easy, I LOVE them ALL!

The omelet is good with added 2 tbsp of egg whites and stuffed with vegies like spinach, red pepper and mushrooms. I have an omelet pan that makes it easy.

Try each product. If you only buy 1, and don’t like it, you only have to choke it down once. Go into it knowing that (for example) Dorados are just not gonna taste like Doritos. Find a few winners and stick to those. You can do it!

@evita i was told all packets are created equal except restricted and you can have one of those a day . so i eat a restricted usually a bar cran / pom , pbutter bar or a non res vanilla krispy sq or orange or lemon wafer for breakfast / or chili which i think is restricted or a chip and veggies for lunch a dinner & then another snack like choc soy puffs after dinner . or i even split my protein between lunch n dinner. From what i was told you could literally eat 3 of any packets a day if not restricted

Green onions sautéed then add mushrooms. 1can diced fire roasted tomatoes. Can add zucchini or other squash to either tomato basil or mushroom. Add cauliflower or broccoli bits to any soup. It’s a game changer. Same w pancake mix or powdered mixes. Add 1 pkg stevia. Cinnamon. Dash vanilla. Baking powder. I use egg whites instead of water. Voila. Waffle or pancake ! WF blueberry syrup one of few products of theirs I like. Get @kippyva’s cookbook & learn what to do. Chocolate crispy wafers. Vanilla crispy wafers. Sweet n spicy trail mix. Maple oatmeal w stevia & vanilla/cinnamon. Add instant coffee to choc or vanilla drink mix w ice. Delicious. Spread your wings and try variations on the theme.

Start your day w veggies. I get jicama tortillas & grill them. If not avail just do veggie stir fry w green onions, mushrooms, spinach & few bites tomato. Add egg white mixture after all tender and what a breakfast ! You could have a pkg of their chips to crumble some to make migas like mixture. Think outside the box !

The vanilla bars taste like rice crispy treats! And seriously. who doesnt like them! I also curb my bread love by fixing a hamburg bun with the potato puree! And the chips are good! I think they taste just like the regular ones! Ranch, taco, salt and vinegar are great!

To be honest I don’t like most of the food. I like some of the premade drinks and puddings and a couple flavours of crisps and a few bars. I manage okay. Also the mug cake and chocolate chip pancake as a muffin.

I don't eat the meals. I have a shake or choc chip pancake breakfast. Have a salad and bag of chips the ranch dorado's are good or the trail mix with a big salad then my protein and more vegetables then I heat up the brownie for 30 seconds microwave with cup of decaf tea to finish off the night. I too don't like the packaged meals but have been very successful hang in there it works

I stick to Mug Cake for breakfast (yum it’s so good! ) Nacho Chips and roasted veggies or salad for lunch Protein/veggie dinner snack mix or chocolate drink (warmed - hot chocolate)

I made cookies n muffins from my pudding and drink mixes so then I could add spices , vanilla n baking powder , extra virgin oil and eggs , so the taste was different

I just stuck with it and eventually I ended up liking the food and realizing my body prefers low carb. Try it for 60 days and see how you're doing. I didn't like the food at first either

My favorite IP foods are the vanilla rice crispy squares, chocolate soy puffs, chili is pretty good, Berry yogurt drink in the blender with a handful of fresh spinach and ice, Broccoli cheese soup with 2 cups of chopped broccoli. Also refrigerate the bars, wafers and they are even better. My daughter likes the chicken ala king with finely chopped broccoli, my son likes the Mac and cheese and rotini noodles. Try a combination of I P foods some are great and some are ok and some I never order. Also try some different spices, we like garlic and the chili blend from trader Joe's it has no salt in it.

I only eat the premade chocolate shakes (heat them up as hot chocolate for breakfast), the peanut butter bar for my restricted and the chocolate soy balls. Most of the IP products are gross I have to agree.

Morning go to is coffee mixed with chocolate drink mix. Lunch is salad and nacho doritos or spicy trail mix. All of the wafers are good and. Restricted bars are good. Dinner is veggies and 6 oz of meat. I make my own salad dressing.

My favorites are the chocolate drink mix (hot or cold) and chocolate chip pancakes, although I do like many more things.
