I have been feeling foggy lately and my coach asked about my sodium intake. I informed her that sodium always makes my scale go up. I tried doing the IP salt in the beginning but I got nervous that it was causing my scale to go up. But she told me to try it again for the energy and my scale should even out. But guys, my scale is up by almost 2 pounds since I have been doing the salt for three days. I have increased my water to try and counter act the sodium. Any suggestions? I’m not sure I can continue with the salt.

If your scale goes up to adjust for sodium, it’s like if someone changed the weight on your scale. it’s all relative. That becomes your new point to lose from. If you follow full plan you will lose. The scale is only one indicator. Your body needs some level of salt. It will adjust.

Realize that it's temporary water weight and not real weight. That your fat weight will still go down. You need to have a certain level of sodium in your diet.

Have you tried Fizz? My coach recommended it. I use it every day.

@ingraft773 never heard of it. What is it

@plectrum99 My coach carries them and highly recommends them. Since this is my second time on the program I can say that I never stopped taking Fizz. I no longer have cramps and don’t need pain meds for headaches. Highly recommend them.

@ingraft773 my coach recommended I drink my salt and a glass of water every day to avoid headaches and cramps and to improve water loss.

I find the fogginess happens if I don’t take the Omega 3

I understand, but think long term. That one time weight gain from the IP salt will not happen again AND if your sodium & potassium levels are too low it can be hard on your heart.

Do you use the water enhancers?

Could you be over compensating with water? If you're drinking too much and not sweating enough that could be it too.

Use Real Himalayan Pink Salt- nothing in there and it's unprocessed.
