Kale! Kidding. Have you tried the various varieties of lettuce? There were some that were not on my to eat list, but others became my favorite. I even look forward to salads now. Smoothies are a great way to get them in and not notice.

I've had romaine and other lettuce, but am so used to piling on dressing (in my pre-IP life) that it is a bit lackluster with minimal oil & vinegar dressing. I'd prefer to stay away from the WF and other "carb free" pre-made dressings as I'm already putting a ton of non-natural ingredients in my body with the IP items. Dressing recipe recommendations?

@springclean I have been doing this since 2015 and I always use WF and my bloodwork and health are in amazing shape. My doctor is really impressed. I don’t worry about it at all.

@springclean Seriously, teach yourself to eat salad without dressing. It takes a while but it’s something that can stick with you in maintenance. It makes it easy when you go out to dinner and this is all about lifestyle changes. Salt & pepper. At home I make my own salad dressing with 2 kinds of mustard and apple cider vinegar. No oil but you can add it in IP prescribed amounts. Just teach yourself to go without. Same with drinking black coffee.

Use the lettuce as a wrap for burgers. Add mustard, pickles, raw onions or whatever you'd like. Also wrap a grilled chicken breast with it

@dampier Yes, this is something that continued into maintenance. It’s easy to use big leaves to wrap all sorts of proteins.
