I need to follow this. My IP place cancelled my appt 75 min ahead this morning because they didn’t have room today(it’s a doctors office & too many docs were seeing patients ) They’ve done other similar things on other visits6 or 7 times (a medical assistant burst into my consultation twice to see how long my coach was going to be with me) These have led me to believe I’m Insignificant. I want to eat everything I can. I’ve “binged” on all my IP allowed foods for the day. Last week someone rear ended me hard on my way home from my appt while she was fleeing another accident. Maybe I’m not supposed to do IP any more.

@abrasive. West suburbs of Chicago. It’s at my GI doctor & she’s an awesome doctor. I’m getting ready to go into phase 2 although not at my goal yet. I don’t know if another place will take me with lower food purchases. I’m trying to not stress eat over this but it’s so closely related, it’s difficult.

@abrasive or do it on your girl. Pull yourself up from your bootstraps. You can. weigh and measure yputself. and put a gold star on your own forehead. we dont pat ourselves on the back enough. you started this for a reason. no body said it would be easy. If you were rear ended. you may have a concussion . Concussion doesnt present itself immediately. sometimes it can be a month later. it makes you real depressed and you hear yourself saying strange things

Get to a good chiropractor Especially if your neck hurts or headaches. And find a new place that appreciates you.

I meal prep so that if I feel like I need to snack I have IP approved stuff ready to munch on. I have salads made up, sliced peppers, pickles, and sometimes I make zucchini chips to have on hand. My coach suggested baking egg whites with kale or spinach into muffin tins and keeping those on had. I’m not a fan of egg whites so I have not done that yet. I also have flavored seltzer’s ready to go and herbal tea for to sip on. Sipping on something different than water for a bit until the stress settles usually helps me. It’s not easy but you can do this!

I to refer to it as 'Sharking Around the Kitchen' because I just want to chew on anything. Try making a list of alternative things to do besides eating: take a bubble bath, go for a walk in a favorite place, talk to a friend, listen to your favorite music, make something with your hands, etc. Post the list somewhere you can easily see it when there's stress. If you must eat, try something crunchy: celery, cucumber, etc. I don't know why, but crunchy can feel satisfying when I'm stressed. Hope this helps. ❤

I eat lots of cucumbers and radishes. Satisfies the chewing.

I haven’t seen anyone mention Girl Scout cookies, but I’ve got a ton of them in my house at the moment (my Girl Scout is selling them) and it’s so hard to resist them. especially when stressed.
